Which bulb is best for a table or floor lamp?
Each table and floor lamp is unique in its design and compatibility with light bulbs. It is essential to match the right bulb to the right lamp. Firstly, ensure that the bulb type matches with the lamp’s bulb socket type. For example, match an E27 bulb with an E27 lamp. The lamp type should be listed in the product’s description. LED bulbs are recommended for their energy efficiency and long life, where most LED bulbs boast a lifetime of over 50,000 hours.
After the correct bulb type is determined, depending on your specific needs and the aesthetic of the table or floor lamp, it is important to consider the temperature, shape and style of the bulb. For a cozier and more ambient vibe, a warmer colour of 2700K or 3000K is recommended, whilst a cooler or more neutral colour of 4000K and 5000K is recommended for tasks that require brighter light such as studying or working.
What lamp is best to study under?
As mentioned above, a cooler, brighter colour of 4000K and 5000K is optimal for studying and working. The extra brightness contributes to a clearer work and study environment, increasing productivity and efficiency.
How tall should a floor lamp be?

Is it safe to leave a floor lamp or table lamp on all night?
Modern LED bulbs and lights are safe to leave on overnight although it is not recommended. Modern LED bulbs and lights now are safer, more energy-efficient and are unlikely to overheat. However, if your table lamp uses halogen or fluorescent bulbs, it is recommended to use them in shorter periods of time to prevent overheating.
