Installation and Placement:
Spike lights can be installed by a licensed electrician and can be placed around your outdoor area strategically to create the most desirable lighting effect. Bulb Types for Spike Lights:
Spike lights come in two different styles, LED built-in which does not require additional bulbs or bulbed styles. With LED built-in spike lights, this can reduce the size of the spike light making it useful for smaller areas. Bulbed style LED spike lights can come in low-voltage or high-voltage options making it customisable to your needs. GU10 globes are 240 volt high-voltage or MR16 globes are 12 volt the low voltage option. Discuss with your electrician or contractor for what works best with your home.
Weather Resistance:

Wiring and Power Supply:
Spike lights come in both high and low voltage styles. High voltage is 240 volts which is the standard Australian voltage, you will not be required to install additional drivers. Low voltage in 12 volts which is the standard voltage for Australia. Please consult your electrician about which voltage is needed in your home.
