Vanity Lights vs General Bathroom Lighting

While ceiling downlights light the room, they often cast shadows on your face. Vanity lights eliminate this by placing the light source at eye level. Combined with ambient lighting, they help you create a well-lit and relaxing bathroom that works day and night.

FAQs – Vanity Lighting

Can I use regular wall lights above my mirror?

Only if they meet IP44 or above. Our vanity range is bathroom-safe and designed for mirror placement.

What colour light is best for grooming?

Neutral white (around 4000K) provides the most accurate skin tone representation, perfect for makeup or shaving.

Should I install lights above or beside the mirror?

Both options work. Lights beside the mirror (on either side) give the most even coverage. Above-mirror lights are better for compact setups.

Are LED vanity lights dimmable?

Many of our designs support dimmers. You’ll find the dimmable feature listed on each product page.

Do you offer matching vanity and ceiling lights?
