Picture isn't very accurate

My new hobby is making lampshades, so I bought these for the bases only... which is just as well, because although the shades they come with look cute enough, they're quickly and cheaply made. Also, the bases I got were a lot darker in colour than those in the picture and completely green. This didn't bother me though, because green is my thing, and I actually prefer them to what I thought I was going to get.
